For each individual recorded, we ask about the sex in column 39; whether the death was registered with the civil authority in charge of death registration in column (40); the date when the death occurred (column 41); the age at the time of death in column 41a; the circumstances surrounding the death in column (42) and (43). In Column (42), we ask if the death was as a result of an accident such as road traffic accident, accidental falls etc; violence such as lynching by mobs; a homicide which is an unintentional killing of another person or suicide which is taking one's own life.
