What is i-PUSH: this is an innovative partnership by AMREF Health Africa and PharmAccess. It leverages the increasing usage of mobile technology in Kenya to connect people directly to healthcare financing, healthcare quality, and health knowledge. The aim is to improve access to better care for Kenyans, with a focus on women and their children.
This program links communities to NHIF through saving for NHIF premiums on the Mtiba health wallet. The program also trains health care volunteers on various health information and the CHVs in turn visit households to relay this information.
