Question pretext
For many of the following questions, I want you to consider two income groups – the poor and the relatively well-off (non-poor). Each question will be asked separately about poor and non-poor women who live in Liberia.
I will mention the main types if people who perform induced abortion in Liberia. These include doctors, physician assistants, nurses/midwives, medical students/interns, tradition providers, pharmacists, web/street vendors, and woman herself who self-induce.
[Interviewer: You can mention that there are not exact definitions for “poor” and “non-poor,” but by “poor” we mean women with lower income levels.]
Now indicate whether, in your opinion, poor women who seek abortions go to the following types of providers commonly, sometimes or rarely/never.
