However, other operational costs are variable and may go up or down from month to month, such as utilities. Operational costs include electricity, rent of the building, equipment rental, accounting expenses, utilities (e.g. phone bills), office supplies (e.g. paper, notebooks, etc.), insurance fees, travel expenses or other expenses related to the operation of the organization implementing family planning project/programme.
