At the beginning of this section, say to ([child_name], "We will now play some games which show how you use your hands and fingers."
For items 46 and 47, use the materials and procedure described below:
Materials: Six coins and coin box
Instruction:In this task, ([child_name] is required to drop coins through the slot in the coin box, one at a time using the right and left hand. Place the coin box in front of ([child_name], with the slot positioned horizontally, and 6 coins nearer the right side of ([child_name]. Say to ([child_name], "We shall put the coins in the box like this," while demonstrating (with 3 coins) how to put the coins into the box on the right side (use your left hand for this demonstration as you will be seated opposite ([child_name]). Hold the coin box steady, pick up the coins one after the other and put them into the coin box as quickly as possible using one hand. Replace the coins and encourage ([child_name] to drop the coins into the box using the right hand.
Place the coin box with the slot oriented vertically toward ([child_name] and repeat the procedure outlined above. If ([child_name] tries to hold all the coins in his/her hand, take them away and place them in ([child_name]'s hand one by one.
Follow the same procedure as for the right hand for the left hand.
