Literal question
Hello. My name is _____ from Ipsos Kenya. We are conducting some research on
behalf of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the African Population and Health
Research Centre about people’s quality of life, and how men and women in Kenya may experience
sanitation services differently. Approximately 1,000 interviews are being conducted across Kenya for
this study with a random sample of adults aged 18+.
This main interview would take about 15-20 minutes of your time and would just involve answering
some questions about your experiences of sanitation services. Your participation is entirely
voluntary but would be very grateful for your support with this important study.
I would stress that the research is entirely confidential, and your responses would be anonymous
and combined with the responses of others taking part when analysing the results.
As part of this research, we are also keen to get the perspectives of a second member of the
