Questions and instructions

Literal question
Hello. My name is _____ from Ipsos Kenya. We are conducting some research on
behalf of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the African Population and Health
Research Centre about people’s quality of life, and how men and women in Kenya may experience
sanitation services differently. Approximately 1,000 interviews are being conducted across Kenya for
this study with a random sample of adults aged 18+.
As I believe you know, we have already interviewed another member of your household. However,
for this research we need to get the perspectives of two household members of different genders.
This second interview is shorter and takes about 10 minutes.
Your participation is entirely voluntary but would be very grateful for your support with this
important study. I would stress that the research is completely confidential, and your responses
would be anonymous and combined with the responses of others taking part when analysing the
results.Would you be willing to help?
