Interviewer instructions

The respondent is asked to specify the place where the household usually cooks. In cases where the household cooks in different places (e.g. outside during the day, in the house during the evening, etc), ask where most of the cooking takes place. If most of the cooking is done outside, code “1” is circled, if it is done in a distinct room that serves as a kitchen only, code “2” is circled. If the household does not do any cooking and take already prepared meals either in their dwelling unit or from another location, code 05 is circled. Other options for place where cooking takes place are given below.
