Qs1241-1242 touch on physical and sexual violence meted on the young woman by someone else or meted on someone else by the young woman. Reassure the respondent of utmost confidentiality of the responses she gives as some of these questions can alarm the respondent since they have a criminal element in them. For instance she might be worried that if she reports being beaten by her husband, you might report this to the authorities and have her husband arrested.
