Interviewer instructions

This question applies to either the respondent's or her partner's sterilization. select the category that indicates the type of facility where the sterilization took place. When choosing a category, you need to know whether the place is in the public sector (run by the government) or in the private sector. If the place is run by a non-governmental organization, it should be considered private. If you cannot determine whether the facility is public or private, write the name of the facility in the space provided, and inform your supervisor after you complete the interview. Since you have recorded the name of the facility, your supervisor will be able to find out whether it is public or private and then you will select the appropriate category.
