Interviewer instructions
These questions are asked of all respondents, regardless of whether or not they themselves are married. The questions ask for the respondent's opinion as to what married women should do in various hypothetical situations.

For Qs.924 and 925, the respondent is asked to imagine a situation in which a wife knows her husband has a disease that can be transmitted through sexual contact. Q.924 asks whether the respondent thinks that it is justified for a wife to refuse to have sex with her husband if the wife thinks the husband has a sexually transmitted infection. Q. 925 tries to find out whether, in the respondent's opinion, it is justified for a wife to insist that her husband wear a condom when she knows he has an infection that could be transmitted through sexual intercourse.
