Interviewer instructions
These questions ask about the household members' experience of events we are referring to as shocks. For each event that the respondent reports was experienced by the household or a member of the household, we go on to Q135A and ask how many such events were experienced in the last one year. Note that the events are not restricted in space- that is they do not have to happen in the place where the household lives in Nairobi. For example, a respondent tells you that his house in Budalangi was washed away in November 2011. This should be recorded as a shock to the household.
