There are special days designated as national immunization days (referred to as NIDS) in which mass outreach campaigns are launched to ensure all children have the opportunity to be vaccinated.

Q.510 is asked for any child reported on a vaccination (health) card or by the mother to have had at least one immunization. The question seeks information on whether the child received an immunization during any of the national immunization days held during the two years before the survey.
