Interviewer instructions
Iron supplementation is believed to be one of the most effective methods of alleviating anemia.

Iron supplements for infants and young children are commonly given in the forms of tablets or pills, or liquids (syrups or drops). A packet containing tiny iron particles that may be sprinkled on a child's food is also available. Since iron supplementation of children may occur in weekly or daily form, Q.515 asks if the child received iron supplementation in the past 7 days (week).
