Interviewer instructions
The purpose of this question is to collect information on the location where food is prepared in the household: in the same room used for sleeping, in a separate kitchen, room used for other purposes or outdoors. This information is important in providing an indicator of the air quality inside and around the dwelling. If a respondent tells you that the household does not cook, establish that all meals are sourced from elsewhere and no meal is cooked by the household. Any other places where food is cooked and is not in the pre-coded options should be recorded under 'other' and specified.
