For those children who did have a checkup, additional questions are asked about the first checkup the child had including: when this checkup took

place (Q.444), the person who did the checkup (Q.445), and where the checkup took place

(Q.446).

Last pregnancy (among women aged 12-49 years) in the five years preceding the survey which was delivered at a public or private health facility according to wom_q431 and for which woman was not given a health check by a health care provider before discharge according to wom_q435 and for which woman was given a health check by a health care provider or a traditional birth attendant after discharge according to wom_q438 and for which baby was given a health check within 2 months of birth by a health care provider or a traditional birth attendant according to wom_q443
